ChirpMe is a mix of Facebook, Groupon, Twitter, Match.com and, coming soon, FourSquare. The company launched in Hartford in January, and over 1,000 people in the area signed up within the first 48 hours.

# Once you’re registered, you’ll see your central feed showing the statuses of other local Chirpers as well as Groupon-like coupons in the margins of your profile.
# ChirpMe’s coupon offers come from places like Bocca Rossa, Bin 228, Ichiro, Feng and more who sponsor ChirpMe.
# Soon to be introduced is a FourSquare-like (or Facebook Places-like) tool allowing Chirpers to let their Chirppies know where they are, what they’re doing, which restaurants they’re bargain-dining in.
# You’re encouraged to ask and respond to other Chirpers’ questions (“If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?”; “How would you describe yourself in three words?”; etc.).
