CodeGuard, a startup that launched at TechCrunch Disrupt last week, has already raised a round of funding. The company has just announced a $500,000 round from Imlay Investments. CodeGuard protects your websites from attacks and data thefts.

CodeGuard is a member of the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Advanced Technology Development Center, one of the leading technology incubators in the world, according to Forbes magazine.

Utilizing research and partnering with Georgia Tech’s Information Security Center, CodeGuard offers a completely new type of malware detection and remediation service for small and medium businesses. CodeGuard was co-founded by serial internet security professionals and internet technologists.
