Google made a lot of acquisitions in 2010. Google is still on an acquisition spree this year. BusinessInsider reports that Google intends to acquire 50 startups this year. I believe Google will acquire more than that this year. Given that Google wants to acquire 50 startups, there are 33 more to go. In the past 7 months, the following startups have been acquired by Google.

- SayNow , a voice recognition startup was acquired for Google Voice integration on January 25, 2011.
- fflick, a social network service was acquired on January 26, 2011 for Youtube integration.
- Zynamics a security app was bought on March 1, 2011.
- BeatThatQuote.com, a price comparison service was acquired for £37,700,000 for Google Advisor integration on March 7, 2011.
- Next New Networks, an online video service was acquired on March 7, 2011 for YouTube integration.
- Green Parrot Pictures, an Irish digital video service was acquired on March 16, 2011 for YouTube integration
- PushLife, a Canadian service provider was acquired on April 8, 2011 for $25,000,000
- TalkBin, a mobile service provider was on April 26, 2011 for Android purposes.
- Sparkbuy, a price comparison service was bought on May 23, 2011 for Google Product Search integration.
- PostRank, a Canadian social media analytics service was acquired on June 3, 2011.
- Admeld, an online advertising service was acquired for $400,000,000 on June 9, 2011 for DoubleClick, Invite Media integration.
