Coursekit combines tools like gradebook, file management, communication, and calendaring with social networking features so students can communicate with each other. Teachers can also upload homework assignments, answer questions, grade work and facilitate discussions with their students. In addition, students can Coursekit to chat with one another, collaborate on projects and share relevant materials with their classmates.
Coursekit has already been piloted at over 30 universities in the US and the company hopes to extend to more in the future.
