Raising funds can be a lengthy process for most startups. Some startups do not just have what investors are looking for. It’s as simple as that. You need to show the numbers. If you don’t have it, take time to take your idea through the grill, get it verified, proven and access it’s scalability, if you can and you should! Start lean, test your product the market, gather meaningful feedback from your customers and repeat until you are convinced enough to bet your last personal savings on it because you believe and know you can make it work. Investors need to be convinced beyond reasonable doubt that you your business can really make it when given the opportunity. It takes more than your passion to get it done. You should be solving a real problem out there and you better do a good presentation about that the next time you meet your potential ANGEL.

The infographic below shows one of the processes of raising money for your new startup.
