Mobile application developer Handmark®, in partnership with Fishing Cactus, today announced the first release of the game Shift for Android mobile devices.
Shift is based on the popular flash game originally created for the desktop web by Antony Lavelle at Armor Games that has been played by more than 10 million people. Shift and Shift Lite are immediately available to download through the Android Market and will soon be available via GetJar and other channels.
Shift is a puzzle game that is based on the negative-space centric platform concept with a literal twist to the game play mechanic.
#You are subject 32763, trapped in a black and white experiment and have to find your way out.
#The arrows on each side enable you to navigate by running or jumping.
#Impassable platforms, which can hinder or help your progress, can be rotated out of the way by collecting the proper key.
#The “Shift” button flips the game space, reversing both your body color and gravity, to help you get to the exit door
