Where 2.0 Conference is where the grassroots and leading-edge developers building location-aware technology intersect with the businesses, marketers, and entrepreneurs seeking out location apps, platforms, and hardware to gain a competitive edge.

15 location related startups took part in the startups showcase in Santa Clara, Calif. yesterday to show off the location-based services they’re working on. Where 2.0 attendees and a panel of judges from the investor community had 50 minutes to visit the demos and listen to the pitches. At the end of the hour, the judges will announce their top picks along with the audience favorite. These winning startups each gave a pitch and had an on-stage conversation with the judges. Fwix, Badger, CrowdFlower, UrbanQ, 360Cities and BestParking.com made made brand new announcements.
