WuFoo Has Been Acquired By SurveyMonkey For $35 million

Wufoo is an Internet application that helps anybody build amazing online forms. When you design a form with Wufoo, it automatically builds the database, backend and scripts needed to make collecting and understanding your data easy.

SurveyMonkey is an online survey tool that enables people of all experience levels to create their own surveys quickly and easily. SurveyMonkey today acquired online form maker WuFoo for $35 million in cash and stock.

The startup launched way back in 2006 with only $118,000 in angel money (Paul Bucheit, who is now a partner at Y Combinator, was one of the investors).

WuFoo is an addition to other recent acquisitions including ClickTools and Precision Polling.
