Yidio Now Alerts You When A New Video From Your Favorite TV Show Goes Up

San Francisco-based online video directory Yidio is introducing content alerts today, pinging its users every time a new video from one of their favorite TV shows goes up. Never miss another episode of your favorite shows plus stay on top of all the gossip and news.

Yidio makes it easy to find, enjoy and watch more than a million episodes of TV shows on your laptop, TV, tablet or your mobile phone. With more than 1.5 million registered users, 10 Million monthly visitors and the most extensive episode information on movies and television, Yidio.com is one of the largest provider of new users to internet TV and movie content providers like Hulu, Amazon, iTunes, and Netflix.

One of the many applications it wants to enable with its data layer, which includes information about around 300,000 episodes from 7,000 TV shows. Yidio has started to use this data to power websites from partners like the TV Addict and Spoilers Guide, and he company is looking at signing up other partners.
