Glassboard has launched in the iTunes, Android and Windows Phone app stores a simple app for communicating across multiple different topical “boards” on your phone.

Glassboard is an app for sharing privately with groups. Think Facebook but private, and focused around groups. In Glassboard, you create ‘boards’ which are groups of people around a common interest, and you can share messages, comments, photos, videos, and even your location (when appropriate).

Only the board chair can invite you to a board, and there is no way for someone not invited to search or discover a board. It’s your own private corner of the internet.
