- Cisco acquired the assets of AXIOSS Software, a developer of software for network services ordering and fulfillment. Cisco said it would pay $31M in cash for AXIOSS Software, which was formerly the UK subsidiary of Comptel Corporation.

- Multifamily Technology Solutions, the parent firm of online housing rental marketplace MyNewPlace, was acquired by RealPage. The deal was worth $74.4M, net of cash expected to be acquired.
- Vector Capital agreed to acquire two units from Motorola Solutions. The two said that Vector Capital will acquire Motorola Solutions’ Point-to-Point (PTP or Orthogon) and Point-to-Multipoint (PMP or Canopy) Wireless Broadband Networks businesses. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
- Yard acquired fellow San Francisco software maker Orchestra. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Engine Yard is a maker of platform-as-a-service (PaaS) tools for Ruby on Rails; Orchestra is a provider of PHP platforms.
