News.me offers a new way to find out what the people who interest you are reading right now. News.me promises to be the best way to read the news, and now it’s free! News.me lets you read the news through the eyes of the people you follow on Twitter.

News.me has become an independent company as of Wednesday September 14th. The company is also promising a slew of application updates in the months ahead. The app used to be $0.99-per-week.

Existing News.me application users will need to download the new version of the application, and paying subscribers must manually discontinue their plans.
