Facebook has acquired Friend.ly a two-year-old Social Q&A Service. In a statement to announce the acquisition, Friend.ly said in a blog post:

We’re excited about this because we feel the spirit of friend.ly aligns well with Facebook’s vision, and we’re thrilled to be joining such an innovative company. The friend.ly team will be focusing on new projects at Facebook, but friend.ly will continue to operate as a separate service.

Friend.ly is a place to express your true self by answering questions about yourself, your friends, and your interests. Answer questions, give compliments, and ask questions. The more answers you write, compliments you give, and questions you ask, the more you’ll learn about yourself and others on Friend.ly.
