Internet and mobile software services startup, Dream Oval has collaborated with Airtel(a telecommunication company) to launch iWallet- an online mobile payment service that requires just an email address and a mobile phone. iWallet does not require a bank account or a credit card to shop online. Users can also send money quickly and easily to any other iWallet user, anywhere in Ghana.
Prospective users must first sign on to the platform at www.i-walletlive.com and top up their account with Airtel money after which they will be able to purchase products from companies which have signed onto the iWallet service.
The following merchants currently accept iWallet as a convenient payment option:

- Pizza, rice, salads, drinks –
- Groceries and more at wholesale prices – Woimex
“With iWallet any Ghanaian will be able to sit in the comfort of their home and purchase household goods, food, clothing, etc online and have them delivered at home as well as make payments without leaving their desk,” said Derrydean Dadzie, CEO of Dream Oval.
