Ex-Googlers Launch Stamped( A New Way To Recommend Only What You Like Best)

Ex-Google employees Robby Stein, Kevin Palms and Bart Stein have launched a new iPhone app-Stamped. In a blog post, the team said that: After months of hard work, we’re very excited to announce that Stamped is now available in the App Store. It’s been a fun journey building this product, and we wanted to take a moment to explain why we made it.

The team further stated that The problem we’re trying to solve is noise. Specifically, there’s too much of it today when you try to discover something new online, whether it be a restaurant, book, movie, or song.

Stamped connects to your Facebook and Twitter networks. Stamped is a new way to recommend only what you like best — restaurants, books, movies, music and more. No noise, no strangers, just the things you and your friends love.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Create a profile and customize your own unique stamp.
2. Stamp the things you want your friends to know about, like an amazing burrito place or a great book.
3. Follow your friends and trusted sources to discover great recommendations.

Google Ventures and Bain Capital put an undisclosed Series A investment into the company
