In pursuit of its mission to help individuals attain economic independence by advancing educational achievement and entrepreneurial success, the foundation identify opportunities where application of the Foundation’s people, ideas, and capital can benefit society in significant and measurable ways. This sketch book by Carl Schramm stresses the important role entrepreneurs play in innovation, job creation, and economic growth.
The three-minute video goes on to outline the issues that the Kauffman Foundation is studying to learn how to help more entrepreneurs become more successful. “We do a lot of research, because if you don’t get the story right, you’ll get the solution wrong,” Schramm says.
