Larry Page has been the CEO of Google for about a year now. He has just published his 2012 Update of the state of Google. In a Google+ post to unveil his update, he said ” Instead of our usual Founders’ Letter, I wanted to do something different and give you an update on what we are focused on. Top of my priority list has been creating a simpler, more intuitive experience across all our products so users get exactly what they need, right when they want it. ”

Sergey and I founded Google because we believed that building a great search experience would improve people’s lives and, hopefully, the world. And in the decade-plus that’s followed, we’ve been constantly delighted by the ways in which people have used our technology—such as making an artificial limb using old designs discovered online.
