Your Android device can be greatly enhanced if you download the best android apps and the most productive apps for it. Most great android apps are free. If you come across great apps on the Android market, don’t hesitate to try it out. Not every good app is free and some great apps will cost you money, but when you come across great free apps, take it and make the most of it. These android apps have recorded thousands if not millions of downloads this year.

Any.DO. The app helps you get things done with your friends in a simple & elegant way. Any.DO helps you create task lists and you can choose when to be notified by it so that you’ll manage to complete all your tasks and chores on time.

CloudOn  gives you full access to Microsoft Office on your tablet or phone. The app brings Microsoft Office to your Android tablet and links it to your Box, Dropbox and Google Drive accounts.

CamScanner turns your phone into a document scanner and fax machine. You can scan multiple pages, receipts, bills, businesscards, membership cards, books, magazines, etc. and store them to your Android device.

Google Currents is a social magazine app. Google Currents delivers beautiful magazine-like editions to your tablet and smartphone for high speed and offline reading. Editions are all free and include:  Forbes, The Guardian, TechCrunch, Mashable, Inc., Fast Company, HuffingtonPost, etc.

Friday captures your entire life through your phone and builds a timeline of the things you do. You can filter and search your life to find the exact information you want.

Pocket is one of the best way to save and view articles, videos and more. When you find something on the web that you want to view later, put it in Pocket. It automatically syncs to your phone, tablet or computer so you can view it any time, even without an internet connection.

Instagram is a free photo-sharing program and social network. You can pick from one of several  filtered effects to breathe a new life into your mobile photos. You can share your photos on a photo-by-photo basis on Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter. Additionally, if you specify a location with your photo you can opt to have it checked in on Foursquare.

Springpad is a great way to save, share and act on what’s important to you. Save anything, from anywhere. Clip an article, snap a photo, scan a barcode, record a voice memo or save a nearby place.

Flashlight:  This app is very popular. You probably have downloaded this app already. The app uses both your screen’s brightness and your phone’s flash to turn your smartphone into a powerful little lantern.

Whatsapp Messenger is a must have. A cross-platform mobile messaging app for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia. WhatsApp uses your internet connection for messaging with friends and family. You can  send and receive messages, pictures, audio notes, and video messages.

    I found flashlight to be the most useful for me. Since my android phone doesn’t have a torch light which i really needed.
