5 Points That Prove That Introverts Make The Best Entrepreneurs

Most business ideas are designed for extroverts and people who are outgoing and seek attention. This can be topped up by the fact that most startup ideas involve outdoor activities. However, does this mean that extroverts make better entrepreneurs as compared to introverts? What does this mean to introverts? Can’t they run successful businesses on their own?

Here are 5 points that prove that introverts actually make the best entrepreneurs. However, this doesn’t mean that extroverts make bad entrepreneurs, but there are some traits which stand out more in introverts than extroverts.

They are more of creators than attention-seekers

Extroverts tend to be more outgoing and may do things just to seek glorification and attention. However, the case is very different for introverts. Introverts tend to get attached to the things they create. They are more passionate about the things they create, and therefore, they will take the time needed to create something unique and of high quality.

Driven by their passion, they will go out of their way and do whatever it takes to achieve the desired results.

They think before they leap

An extrovert is more of a risk-taker as compared to an introvert. This means that an extrovert can take some risks for the sake of glorification or seeking attention. On the other hand, an introvert will think before they make a move.

However, it should not be misunderstood that introverts are slow in acting because once they make a move, it will be worth it. Introverts prefer their own personal time in solitude.

This gives them enough room to think through all their moves without external distractions before making decisions. Also, it will give them time to search for alternatives in case their first plan doesn’t work out.

They are good listeners

Introverts listen more than they speak. This trait is very rare but useful in the business world.

Research has shown that if you put an introvert in charge, all your customers and the other employees will feel appreciated. This is because their concerns will be addressed on most (if not all) occasions. Introverts also create room for other people to pitch in and share their ideas. This largely encourages team building and improved work performance.

Introverts not only listen to other people’s ideas, they actually consider them. For extroverts, they might listen to other ideas just for the sake of it. In the end, they mostly implement their own ideas.

On the other hand, an introvert will listen to all the ideas put on the table, take the time to think about them. In the end, they might decide to use the best idea among them (even if it isn’t the one they had suggested), or a combination of all of them.

They are humble

Humility is one of the best traits one can have in the world of business, yet it is the rarest. This is because of most times; people are more focused on glorifying themselves so as to get ahead.

However, introverts are very humble, and they are always ready to learn and be directed. They have the courage to own up when they’ve screwed up. They are ready to take a back seat and learn from their mistakes, and when they are in the wrong, they are ready to say sorry.

Introverts and extroverts are very different in the way they operate their businesses. For example, when given the assignment to go and check out SoFi personal loan review, an introvert, and an extrovert will bring back very different results. This is due to the difference in motives and passions.
