You have to be willing to post your job in all of the places that you think the right candidate might go looking for you. It can get expensive to post the job in all of those different places so you will want to try to limit your exposure to only the places where the candidates you need are most likely to be looking.

Conduct a background check
A background check can turn up a wealth of information on an individual. It can be your lifeline to check in on to see what kind of history a certain person has. It can be used to eliminate certain individuals who have criminal backgrounds or other issues from their past that you don’t want to have to deal with. It is understandable that you might want to avoid hiring such people.
This is yet another expense that goes into the project of hiring a new worker, but it is well worth the cost. Consider all of the areas that you may want more information on for a prospective hire and see what kind of data you are able to turn up.
