4 Ways Accident Attorneys Can Gain More Clients

Whether you’re a legal startup or an established firm that’s trying to change the way it solicits new clients, there are plenty of steps you can take to start getting more business than you can handle. Even in large cities where there seems to be an insurmountable amount of competition, the booming population of metropolitan areas means there will always be new clients to service. With that said, here are four ways accident attorneys can improve their client solicitation efforts.

1. Publish keyword-optimised web content

Nowadays, the phonebook is rarely used in comparison to the number of people who use web searches to find and compare products and services. When a prospective client is searching for legal services in your area through Google, Bing, Yahoo, or any other search engine, they’re essentially giving you the opportunity to cater to their needs.

While the art of search engine optimization (SEO) – getting your site’s pages to rank highly in search results – goes far beyond keywords and using the right keywords in your page titles and content is a good place to start. The more specific you can be with accident types and location, the better. For example, a firm based in San Diego could target the term “San Diego motorcycle accident attorney.”

2. Local ads

Advertising through local sources such as TV, radio, and billboard ads can still be a highly effective way to get the attention of your potential client base. Anything you can do to establish the name of your firm as a recognizable brand in your area will help to create exposure that will eventually generate more leads. You can also use classified ads sites like Craigslist to advertise free or low-cost consultations in your area. Since all of these methods promote a fair amount of visibility, they’re usually worth the initial investment.

3. Social media groups

Staying active on social media in your area or starting your own group is another great way to be visible in your community and make yourself available to the victims of car accidents on a more personal level. Giving prospective clients the ability to ask questions and contact you through your group will also show that you’re committed to great customer service.

4. Specialising in certain kinds of accidents

Many people will look for an attorney who has experience in dealing with cases that are similar to their own. Even if the general process of representing a client is basically the same across various accident types, it’s still wise to market your services from the angle of helping out specific kinds of accident victims. Building on the previous example, branding your firm as a provider of motorcycle accident legal services could help steer more attention your favour.

Making Yourself Available is the Name of the Game

In closing, all of the steps above will help you achieve one main goal – making yourself visible and available to any prospective clients who might be in need of your service.
