Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout our lives. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and improve your efficiency at work.
Beddr helps you achieve true sleep with clinical-grade data and expert insights using technology. The Beddr SleepTuner and iOS mobile app bring the power of a featherweight sleep lab to your fingertips with high definition sleep assessments such as those used by researchers and physicians. Beddr sleep assessment can be taken quickly, comfortably and repeatedly in the comfort of your bedroom.
The SleepTuner uses an optical sensor and accelerometer to measure blood oxygen levels, stopped breathing events, heart rate, sleep position and time in bed.

The device sticks to the user’s forehead, where it measures blood oxygenation, heart rate, sleep position and stopped breathing events. These data are then transmitted to the connected mobile app for the users to view trends describing their sleep quality and potential approaches to addressing them.
Beddr helps you:
- Capture your data from the optimal place on the body for measuring sleep
- Get to the root causes of poor sleep and screen for sleep disorders within days
- Analyze trends and the likely impact of different factors on your sleep
- Understand what really matters with intuitive visualization
“Sleep is the foundation of every employee’s mental and physical health. High-quality sleep has been shown to both reduce healthcare costs, as well as improve productivity, but most employers haven’t found a comprehensive program that addresses the primary root causes of sleep issues and that benefits their entire workforce,” Michael Kisch, CEO and co-founder of Beddr, said in a statement.
“Beddr’s program helps people who have a combination of physiological, psychological, and lifestyle causes of their chronic sleep issues. By enabling people to understand the root causes of their sleep problems and providing easier access to coaching and physicians, we have seen a dramatic increase among our users relative to the overall population in their understanding of their sleep health and how their choices impact their overall sleep quality, ” says Michael.
