When you run an online business, having people visit your website and leave straight away can be incredibly frustrating. You managed to get them there in the first place so why didn’t they convert? This is often a tricky question to answer but there are ways to analyse the results and make some changes to increase conversions.

The first tip that we have for those who want to increase website conversions this year is to add more CTAs to your website. If you already have CTAs on the page then it is possible that they are not working, or an indication that they could be improved in some way. Instead of things like ‘learn more’, you should have CTAs like ‘buy now’ or ‘get started’. Vague CTAs aren’t going to put pressure on the visitor and they might not bother clicking them. Take a closer look at your CTAs and you’ll notice the difference in no time at all.

Adjust Your Content

What many people don’t realise is that it is possible that their visitors are not converting because they got there by accident. You could find that your content is causing your website to rank for keywords that aren’t exactly relevant to your brand. So, if a visitor ends up on your site by accident, they are unlikely to convert.
