5 Reasons For a Business to Get Electric Wall Heaters

Winter is coming on. In many US regions, that means colder weather. Some people like the snow and ice that come at this time, while others don’t appreciate it so much.

Among those who don’t like the cold weather are employees who need to work in inadequately-heated facilities. They might have to bundle up in jackets, scarves, and gloves so they can sit at their desks and do their work.

The companies that have facilities of this nature should look into additional heating options for their employees’ comfort. Electric wall heaters are one option that makes sense. In this article, we’ll explore some reasons why businesses might get electric wall heaters for their chilly facilities.

They’re Easy to Install

One reason why you’d want to look into commercial electric wall heaters as a business owner is because they’re easy to install. You can:

  • Order them and have the manufacturer or seller install them
  • Install them yourself

If you do decide that you want to install them yourself, it doesn’t take a lot of mechanical or electrical know-how to do so. However, if you purchase several of these heaters, then you can probably get the seller to install them for free or very cheaply.

If you buy in bulk, they’ll want to show they appreciate you, so they can dispatch technicians who can install the units with no problems.

They Can Supplement Your HVAC System

You might own or operate a business in a big, drafty warehouse, or something along those lines. You may have an HVAC system in place that handles your cooling and heating needs. However, in this sort of building:

  • You might have areas that the HVAC system does not effectively heat or cool
  • You may have employees during the winter shivering at their desks

If you want to maintain employee productivity, you need to make sure you have happy workers. If they’re bundled up like Eskimos while trying to do their jobs, they’re not going to like it too much.

You’ll probably see better employee retention if you take care of this problem. It’s an easy way to show your care about worker comfort.

They Can Fit in Small Spaces

You might also have an HVAC system that works pretty well in the winter, except there are a few key spaces that stay freezing when the outside temperature drops. With little nooks and crannies, it’s easy for this to happen.

You can install some electric wall heaters wherever you need them to maintain warmer uniform building temperatures. You might install some in bathrooms, hallways, storage closets, or office spaces. If you have a drafty old hotel, you can install them in the rooms as well.

You want either your guests or employees to be comfortable and toasty, whatever kind of facility you operate.

The Manufacturers Price Them Competitively

If you need to heat a facility better, you have some different options. You can completely revamp the HVAC system, but that can get extremely expensive very quickly. You can have plug-in space heaters, but the manufacturers don’t make some of those as well as they should, and they might be fire hazards.

There are several electric wall heater varieties that are very safe. Well-known companies make them. If you buy from the manufacturer or a wholesaler, they’ll give you a better price if you buy many of them at one time.

If you have a larger business or you need to heat several sites, you can negotiate a good price and often get free installation. You’ll save money on your heating needs long term.

You Can Order Them, and They’ll Arrive Quickly

If you order through the right company, you can put in your request, and they’ll ship the same day or shortly afterward. You won’t have to wait the whole winter for your new heating solution to arrive.

Once they get there, you can quickly install them and have them up and running almost immediately, or you can hire someone to do it. Your employees, clients, etc., will appreciate that you helped them this way, and since this is a business expense, you can list it as a tax write off.

There’s no doubt that if you’re ready to improve employee or guest conditions, industrial-style electric wall heaters are one of your best options. You can look at some different ones and figure out which models work for your situation and which ones are in your budget.
