4 UI Elements You Should Have in Your App Design

When you are planning to create an app, you want to make sure that you are keeping user experience in mind so that your app ends up being a success. It’s important to make sure to have these elements so that they know which actions to take and so they recommend you to others. Without a positive user experience, you might lose users as soon as you gain them.

Here are some elements you want to make sure that you include when it comes to creating your app.

1. Simple login

One of the best things you can do when it comes to your app design is how your users first experience them. This means that the login process should be as simple as possible—you don’t want to ask them a ton of questions and have them feel like it would be easier to click out. Many apps allow you to sign up by using social media accounts, which can make the process much faster and simpler than designing a whole new login screen yourself.

2. Consistent colors

You might think being off a few numbers on your HEX code won’t matter when it comes to the design of your app, but the truth is that this can actually be a big deal when it comes to user experience and brand recognition. The more consistent you can be, the more polished and professional your app can look. This is where app design software can be ideal since it can allow you to put in information and have it automatically programmed for your entire application instead of having to do it yourself.

3. Simple interface

The more chaotic your app is, the more difficulty your users are going to have completing actions. While it might seem like a good idea to add a bunch of features in order to get people to stay on, this can actually end up causing you to lose those who would use your app since it can be overwhelming. The best idea is to design a simple interface in order to start and then move on to adding more features as they are requested by users. This way, you can ensure that this is what they want rather than hoping that it works for them.

4. Help center

At some point, users are going to have questions about how your app works and what they need to know to make the most of it. They should also have a place to report any issues that they might run into. This is where having a help center when you can include FAQs about your app can be helpful. You might also want to give them an opportunity to include suggestions so you know which features to include in the future.

In summary

Design is an incredibly essential part of building out a quality app and you want to make sure you include elements that will make user experience better. With these in mind, you can create an app that is a pleasure to use.
