Are you a tenant or landlord looking for an end of tenancy clean and wondering how much you should pay for it? There is such a huge range of prices out there for end of tenancy cleaning that it’s no wonder many people feel confused or overwhelmed when trying to choose which company to go with.

That’s right Premium Clean its here to help. Nobody wants to pay over the odds but you will want to ensure that you get the most thorough clean you can for your new tenants or to ensure that you receive your deposit back, so first, lets take a look at what your end of tenancy cleaning should include.

Kitchen – the kitchen is one of the most important areas for the EOT clean. A thorough clean should include the cleaning of: insides and outsides of all cupboards, handles and doors, the sink (including removing any limescale), cleaned and buffed worktops, polished tiles, a steam of the kitchen floor, the fridge and freezer (there will usually be an extra fee if the freezer is not defrosted prior to the cleaners arriving), the oven, hobs and extractor fans and lastly, the washing machine drum and drawer.

Bathroom – bathrooms are prone to bacteria so should be thoroughly disinfected and scrubbed. Any limescale or soap stains from the bath, shower or sink should be removed. The toilet cistern, u bend, seat and the area behind the toilet should all be included. Finally, the floor, other surfaces and any bathroom fixtures should be absolutely cleansed.

Interior rooms (living room, bedroom, dining room etc) – all of the following should be included in your EOT clean: dusting and polishing of all door frames, door handles, skirting boards, light fixtures, wardrobes, cupboards, electrical sockets, mirrors, furniture and walls. The upholstery, including any mattresses, armchairs, sofas, cushions and curtains, should be vacuumed with a high-quality vacuum cleaner and internal windows should be cleaned.

There are usually some extras than can be added on to your end of tenancy clean if you need them – these include things like carpet cleaning and/or repair, and external windows.

The price of your end of tenancy clean will depend on the size of your property. It is often best to go mid-range as some of the cheaper companies will need to compensate with poorer products and machinery which would result in a less extensive clean.

End of tenancy cleaning can cost a little more than regular cleaning because it provides a deep, thorough clean of every room and there are extras included. There is often no need to choose an extremely expensive company as a good company with mid-range prices will often do just as thorough of a clean. It is always a good idea to choose a cleaning company with a good reputation – check our their google reviews to ensure that you are going to receive the quality of clean that you are looking for.

Here at Premium Clean we provide a tailored clean that is great value for money. We keep our prices to a minimum to ensure that they are affordable for everyone, whilst using the top machinery and products that are safe for children, pets and allergy sufferers.

All of our staff are fully qualified and insured and we can book you in any time that is convenient for you (we understand there is often a short window between you moving out and handing back your keys, or receiving back the keys and the new tenant moving in).

We also offer to come back free of charge if there you find anything that is not 100% satisfactory with your end of your end of tenancy clean. Please feel free to give us a call today for a quote – we are reasonably priced for the best possible cleaning you could receive.
