With 17 years of experience in the U.S. Army, James started his career as a Combat Medic who mobilized with an Explosive Ordnance Devices (E.O.D.) Route Clearance Unit. After deployment, he became a Licensed Practical Nurse, which allowed him to bring a unique blend of discipline, leadership crisis management and critical thinking skills to his role managing the consumer advocate team at Lemon Lion Consulting.

What inspired or motivated you to enlist in the U.S. Army?

James A. Garcia: On September 11, 2001, things got a bit crazy at work when I saw the Twin Towers being hit. I felt this sudden urge to defend our country, so I told my manager I was off to join the U.S. Army. He looked at me like I was nuts, but I grabbed my stuff and left, promising to be back. That decision to enlist not only changed my path in life but also shaped who I am today.

After all these years of serving, what brought you to Lemon Lion Consulting?

James A. Garcia: My time as a Combat Medic was incredibly fulfilling but eventually led to my honorable medical discharge. Despite this, my spirit remained strong, and I knew I still wanted to help people in some capacity. 

When I saw how Lemon Lion Consulting was helping my uncle get out of his black hole of a timeshare, I was really impressed. I told the management team that if they could pull it off, I’d have so much faith in Lemon Lion Consulting that I’d jump at the chance to work for them. I wanted to keep helping others, and their dedication to finding solutions really clicked with me. Being part of this team lets me keep making a positive difference, and I’m proud to be with a company that values integrity and service as I do.

What makes you passionate about working at Lemon Lion Consulting and helping clients exit their timeshares?

James A. Garcia: What really drives me is the chance to help people navigate the maze of timeshare ownership, especially when they’re up against tough challenges. Listening to these stories every day fires up my determination to make a difference. Knowing I can help them escape these financial traps and start fresh gives me a real sense of purpose. It’s more than just a job; it’s a personal mission to free others from the grip of financial burden and give them back their freedom.

What skills and values did you gain from your military experience that you translate into your current work? 

James A. Garcia: My military experience ingrained in me the powerful belief that ‘For every problem, there is a solution.’ This mantra, which guided us through challenges in the army, now fuels my work at Lemon Lion Consulting. I take immense pride in knowing that I am the solution for countless timeshare owners, offering them a way out of their difficult situations. It’s a privilege to be able to make a real difference in their lives.

How do you believe your military service has influenced your ability to assist our clients in navigating their timeshare contracts?

James A. Garcia: Back when I was in the military, I learned firsthand how important it is to pay attention to every little detail. As a Combat Medic, being meticulous was crucial for saving lives. Now, at Lemon Lion Consulting, I bring that same level of attention to detail to help our clients deal with the financial challenges of timeshare contracts. Just like stopping the bleeding of a wound, I work hard to find solutions that stop the money drain to resorts and get our clients back on track financially.

What similarities do you see between serving your country and helping clients achieve their financial goals through timeshare exit?

James A. Garcia: You know, whether it’s serving my country or helping folks get out of timeshare messes, it’s all about freedom and liberation. Back in the military, I was all about making sure my team was looked after and supported. Now, at Lemon Lion Consulting, it’s kind of the same deal. I’m driven by helping clients break free from those burdensome timeshare fees and find their financial freedom. It’s all about understanding what people want and working hard to make it happen, whether on the battlefield or in the world of timeshares.

What unique perspective do you believe you bring to our team as a veteran employee, and how does it contribute to our company’s success?

James A. Garcia: My military service has instilled in me a deep appreciation for freedom and a strong sense of duty.
