MidemNet Lab is an international pitch platform for the world’s most innovative music startups and highlights the best companies bringing exciting new digital solutions to the music industry. Its second edition took place at MIDEM, 23‐26 January 2011, Palais des Festivals, Cannes.
MidemNet Lab has announced the top three winners out of the 30 MidemNet Lab Finalists at MidemNet Lab startup competition.

Jammbox‘s Discovr is an iPad app which enables users to find the music they like by creating personalised magazines around their preferences. In true hacker style, musical content including audio, video, images, and text are collected from across the web and from industry APIs, and integrated into a rich content app. Jammbox is subscription-based, with a freemium business model.
Next Big Sound is a B2B platform that provides online music analytics and insights. It measures the growth and popularity of hundreds of thousands of artists across all the major web properties such as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Wikipedia, and many more.
Shuffler.fm, the B2C category winner, is internet radio made by music blogs. It allows users to surf the music web without having to weed through thousands of music blogs one by one.
