3 Middle East Startups Recieve Funding From Intel Capital

Intel Capital announced 3 new investments in the Middle East; Nymgo,-( a VoIP services provider) Jeeran -( a web community platform ) and ShooFeeTV -( aggregator of Arab satellite TV listings) at the World Economic Forum yesterday, October 27th.

Intel Capital’s vision is to be the preeminent global investing organization in the world. Their mission is to make and manage financially attractive investments in support of Intel’s strategic objectives.

Intel Capital has made many well-known investments around the globe. Some of which include WebMD (U.S.), Research in Motion (Canada),Red Hat (U.S.) and MySQL (Sweden).

The recent investment marks Intel Capital’s expansion of its portfolio in the Arab world to a total of eight companies: Nymgo, Jeeran, ShooFeeTV, Conservus, Pulse Technologies, Vertex Animation Studio, NeuString and Sphere Networks.
