O’Reilly Media, Inc. and UBM TechWeb, producers of Web 2.0 Expo, today announced Ifeelgoods, Keepsy and Room 77 as winners of this year’s Startup Showcase in San Francisco.  During a 50 minute demo from over 30 different companies, the attending audience and judges, Robert Scoble, Managing Director, Rackspace and Ann Winblad, Managing Director, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners selected these three companies based on their demo’s creativity and innovation.

Startup Showcase is a program created to bring the Web 2.0 community together and designed to highlight the startup ecosystem.

Ifeelgoods makes online retail promotions more effective and less expensive by using relevant virtual goods and currencies from the most popular social games in place of traditional promotions such as discounts, coupon codes or gifts with purchase. Requiring light integration, Ifeelgoods is a hosted solution that manages a retailers’ virtual goods promotion offers, redemption and customer service.

Keepsy lets you invite friends to make group photo books together. You and your friends can even pitch-in together to get someone a group gift if you like. With Keepsy, anyone can make a page in your book in just seconds. No more emailing photos back and forth. And instead of passing the hat around, everyone can pitch-in to your group gift online.

Room 77 makes it easy to find the hotel room that’s right for you. They’ve mapped virtually every floor in a given hotel, so you can see for yourself how they’re laid out. Don’t like to be near the elevator? No problem. Prefer an ocean view? Got it. Explore a hotel with our maps and expert advice, from the comfort of your seat or the palm of your hand.
