IZettle Is The Square of Europe

Square is a revolutionary service that enables anyone to accept credit cards anywhere. Square offers an easy to use, free credit card reader that plugs into a phone or iPad. There is no extra equipment, complicated contracts, monthly fees or merchant account required. Square is co-founded by Jim McKelvey and Jack Dorsey(founder of Twitter). Square has been a sensation is recent times. Square is based in the US.

IZettle was founded in April 2010 by serial entrepreneurs Jacob de Geer and Magnus Nilsson.These entrepreneurs are creating a similar product in Europe. iZettle creates services for person-to-person and business-to-consumer commerce. The first service includes a free iPhone app and a mini chip card reader that let anyone take card payments anytime, anywhere. Founded in April 2010 by serial entrepreneurs Jacob de Geer and Magnus Nilsson, iZettle is based in Stockholm, Sweden

The product will be introduced late May(beta)-June 2011 in Sweden
