  1. San Mateo-based Conduit, the developer of toolbar and browser apps, acquired Wibiya, a web publishing platform which provides web apps to such sites as TheStreet.com, TheOnion.com, and Philly.com. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
  2. San Jose-based Phase Matrix, a designer of RF and microwave test and measurement instruments, subsystems and components, has been acquired by National Instruments. National Instruments said it will pay $38M for Phase Matrix
  3. Jive Software, the developer of social networking applications for the enterprise,  has acquired OffiSync, which develops connectors for Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint.
  4. Google has acquired Sparkbuy, the operator of an online, electronics comparison search engine. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
  5. HP  is in a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Printelligent. Printelligent is a provider of managed print services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
  6. Atheros Communications, the developer of networking equipment, has officially become part of Qualcomm. The deal was worth $3.1 billion.
  7. Reply! Inc. acquired Mountain View-based MerchantCircle, in a deal worth $60M. MerchantCircle operates an online business advertising service.
