GrowLab is a joint venture between entrepreneurs and angel investors in Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as in Silicon Valley — that has signed up some high-profile financial backers including the BlackBerry Partners Fund and Rho Ventures Canada.

GrowLab aims to find the world’s smartest Internet entrepreneurs who are passionate about technology and changing the face of traditional business. GrowLabs’ approach is entrepreneur-centric. The newly launched accelerator program will provide start-ups with $25,000 in seed funding, four months of mentorship, free office space and the opportunity to pitch to investors for follow-on funding at the end of the program.
