This is a list of the world’s largest public and private businesses by gross revenues. The list is limited to companies with annual revenues exceeding 100 billion U.S. dollars. Revenue is only one of many ways of measuring company size and it is not the most appropriate for all purposes. Using a different measure, such as total assets or market capitalisation, would produce a fundamentally different list. Figures are latest full year results; the year these results were reported in is shown beside them.
