Hipmunk has launched its travel search application for the Android users. Hipmunk is a travel search site that aims to take the agony out of travel planning. Their mission is to help people book travel faster and more efficiently. Hipmunk presents flight results in a visual ”timeline” that allows people to select the best flight for them at a glance.
The Hipmunk Android app features flight results sorted by “agony” and “ecstasy”. App users can sort by flight price, duration, departure and arrival time, view if there’s Wi-Fi on board, save searches, and book travel directly with airlines or third-party services. When you’ve found the right flight, you can either book it on your phone, email it to someone else, or finish on your desktop computer.
