LinkedIn has launched it iPad  app with new features for mobile business professionals. To help you understand “who” you are meeting with, the LinkedIn iPad app can sync with your device calendar to incorporate LinkedIn profile data about each attendee.

The app’s dashboard contains all of the features on LinkedIn mobile products – updates, news, groups, who’s viewed my profile, your LinkedIn profile, search, Inbox and much more. The app has three main areas

1) All Updates: Get a snapshot of your professional updates, news, and information all in one place

2) You: Access your profile, connections and activity dashboard with a quick swipe

3) Inbox: Send and receive your LinkedIn invitations and messages in one place

A lot of tech writers have likened the LinkedIn app to Flipboard. There’s also an update for the iPhone and Android app that adds calendar integration. In addition to the LinkedIn iPad app, LinkedIn are rolling has rolled out a new mobile web experience for the Safari browser on iPad. Try it here: tablet.linkedin.com
