JackThreads is a Members-only Shopping Club For Men

If you think  the men’s online shopping space has reached a saturation point, well think again. Jackthread, a member-only online shopping community that offers private, limited-time sale events with the best brands in surf, skate, streetwear, and contemporary fashion  is currently thriving at an amazing rate.  Jackthreads wants to empower it’s members to feel like a million bucks without spending a million bucks.

Each day at 12pm EST, we post 3-4 new sales offering a completely unique assortment of apparel, sneakers, and accessories at up to 80% off retail prices.

Acquired by Thrillist in 2010, the members-only men’s online clothing retailer. As of 2011, Jackthreads is growing approximately 20% month-over-month. Since the acquisition, JackThreads’ membership has jumped from 150,000 in June 2010 to over 1.7 million members as of February 2012.

The member-only retail site is  now doing around 13,000 orders a week! And 60 percent of those orders are from repeat buyers.

On May 29th, 2012 JackThreads hit a major milestone in their history; surpassing 2 million members.

How it works
To become a Jackthreads member, users must register through the site and receive an invitation to join. Once completed, a daily e-mail is sent to alert members of featured sales, limited-edition collaborations, style guides, seasonally-themed shops and the best from today’s up-and-coming designers.

The company was also listed fourth in AdAge’s 2011 “America’s Hottest Brands” feature. In January 2012, Jackthreads launched its app for Android and iPhone, which reached over 100,000 downloads in its first month.
