One of the major problems that are found in almost all economy is the lack of motivation at work. In research, it is found that only 13% of the employee remains actively engaged at work and the rest others are not at all motivated. It is mostly seen even if their employees are totally uninspired their employer does not know how to motivate them for working hard.

However, there are no such printable templates which can give you detailed instructions for showing how the employees can be motivated for work. That is the reason why we have come up with seven effective ways by which it becomes possible to motivate the employee at work. The following are seven tips and tricks which will help in getting motivated in no time:

Find work on which you have interest

The first thing that you need to do for getting motivated is to find a job in which you have an interest. The employee who is doing work which interests him is certainly one greatest factor which motivates him. Hence it is always better if you can ask your boss to give you those projects in which you have an interest. Doing work which is interesting for you can help you remain engaged as well as motivated throughout the day.

Request feedback from boss or colleague

Generally, it is seen that people get so wrapped up in their daily work that they do not have any time to realize what can be the ways by which they can improve or determine the area in which they can add more values. That is the reason why it is highly necessary to consult a supervisor or colleague and give you the feedback about whether you are doing a good job and if there are any areas where you need to improve. The feedback that will get from boss or colleague will certainly help you to improve your work and which will ultimately motivate you on your work.

Surround yourself with hard-working people

It is always better if you have hard-working people around you. This is because when you will see that the people around you are working hard it will also motivate you to work hard.  No matter whether it is your coworkers or link-minded friends it is important to have peers who will help you to get motivated by pushing you to succeed. 

Break up the big tasks into the smaller component

It is always better to break the hard and big task into smaller components. It is always difficult to overcome a big obstacle than to tackle the smaller tasks. That is the reason why it is very essential to identify your task and break it into the smaller task and make a deadline yourself by which you will complete that smaller task.

You should make the deadline for the smaller task in such a way that the whole task can be completed within the estimated period of time. If necessary you can download an editable calendar make the deadline of a task in a better way. It will certainly help you to complete the whole work easily and will keep you motivated.

Learn a new skill

Learning a new skill always keeps your brain sharp and hence it is highly necessary to determine a relevant skill in your current role in which you have an interest and tell your boos about that. In case your boss or manager of the company observes that it will benefit the company they may decide to raise fund for your training or allow you to work on that. Thus it will help you to add value to the employer as well as increase your marketability. 

Stay positive

No matter whatever you do failure is inevitable but it is very essential to deal with the failure efficiently. If you fail in life you should never feel disheartened as failure teaches you a lot of things. Hence you should always remain positive and try to learn from your mistakes. This will help you to succeed and keep you motivated.

Taking a vacation

As per research, it was seen that 94% of employees who takes a vacation used to work more actively after coming back from a good trip. Most of these employees used to return to work with a higher level of energy that what was seen before the trip. Hence every company should send their employees to vacation which ultimately helps the company to increase their productivity and keep their employee motivated.
